Never Under Estimate Your Opponent

But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. – Hebrews 3:13

Our hope is to encourage post-camp ministry in the lives of our campers through partnering with local Christ-centered mentoring groups, as well as facilitating the creation of “chalk talks” in schools that do not have any spiritual programming easily accessible, especially for the large quantities of campers we serve that have no church home.

On Campus
Upon leaving camp, most of our staff are also in need of continued encouragement and spiritual support. By having full-time staff serving in virtual locations across Texas, we can more readily access our staff, encouraging them in their pursuit of Christ, praying with them, and helping facilitate Bible Studies and prayer groups across the state.
Social Media
Over the past 14 years, social media has certainly helped us grow in our relationships with campers and staffers. We hope to continue to use these tools to connect with the SW family, encourage them in their pursuit of righteousness, pray for them, and sharpen them with Scripture to be impact-players at their schools, in their homes, and at the workplace.
